About the Pedals

RaceFace's Chester is a composite flat pedal with a chromoly axle and a 9/16 inch thread. This is the large platform, which gives bigger feet and enduro shoes more room. It is an affordable, tough pedal that suits a 775 used for trail and enduro, and the composite body tends to slide off rocks instead of catching. A good budget pick.

Install notes

Grease the threads. Thread each pedal by hand, the right clockwise and the left counter-clockwise, then tighten with a pedal wrench to the manufacturer's torque spec. Recheck after the first ride.
