About the Brake Pads

The 8.P Performance is an organic Magura pad in the MDP 8 shape for four-piston MT calipers such as the MT5 on the Bonnell 775 MX, AM and AM Touring. Magura pitches it at long rides where you want consistent, safe braking with strong performance in all conditions. A pack contains four individual pads, enough for one caliper, so order a second pack if you are changing both wheels at the same time.

Install notes

With the wheel off, remove the retaining bolt and pull the worn pads. Clean the caliper with isopropyl alcohol and reset the pistons gently with a plastic lever. Slide in the four new pads, refit the bolt to Magura's torque spec, then bed the pads in on a safe, flat stretch before your first descent.
