About the Tubeless Accessories

This Tannus Armour insert is the rear-wheel version for a 775, made for 27.5 inch wheels in the 1.95 to 2.5 inch width range. The rear tire takes most of the impact and torque, so it is where pinch flats and rim dents usually happen. The foam layer cushions those hits and adds puncture protection. Our catalog lists it for the rear of the MX and the AM mullet setups.

Install notes

Remove the rear tire and tube. Seat the insert on the rim, add the tube inside it, then fit the tire over the insert using soapy water and tire levers. Take care not to pinch the tube. Inflate within the tire's pressure range and check the bead is even.
