Street-legal variant of the Light Bee X. Adds mirrors, turn signals, headlight, horn, and speedometer for road compliance. Shares nearly all mechanical parts with Light Bee X. Electrical accessories (turn signals, horn, mirrors) are Light Bee S specific. Same brake system — Tektro Auriga mineral oil.
Light Bee S is the lower-power Light Bee sibling: Sur-Ron rates it at 50.4V 26Ah removable lithium-ion, 3500W maximum motor power, and a 31 mph top speed. Both wheels are 70/100-17 off-road, seat height is 31.5 inches, and curb weight is 108 lbs. Those numbers matter when someone hands you a "Light Bee" part without saying S or X.
Electrically, Light Bee S does not share Ultra Bee's 74V 55Ah platform or Storm Bee's 104V/55Ah platform. Controllers, chargers, and pack connectors follow the S voltage, so a part sourced for Ultra Bee or Storm Bee is the wrong electrical family even if a bolt pattern looks familiar.
Mechanically, many cockpit and protection items that list the Light Bee family — Warp9 foot pegs, ODI slip-on grips, the SXS UHMW skid plate, and the Warp9 standard stem lock — are verified for Light Bee S on their part pages. Brake pads and fluid in the most-needed row may still be shared Light Bee X SKUs in our catalog; check the Fits list on each PDP. Is Light Bee S the same voltage as Light Bee X?
No. Sur-Ron lists Light Bee S at 50.4V 26Ah. Light Bee X on the global Sur-Ron page is 60V/40Ah, and some regional MY26 dealer pages show 72V 35Ah for Light Bee X. Match accessories to the voltage on your pack label.
What wheel size is Light Bee S?
Both ends are 70/100-17 off-road per Sur-Ron. That differs from Light Bee X (70/100-19 front, 3.00-18 rear) and from Ultra Bee's 19/19 pair. Buying an "LBX tire" for an S usually means the wrong diameter.
Can I use Ultra Bee parts on Light Bee S?
Not for electrical or most chassis parts. Ultra Bee is a 74V 55Ah platform with 80/100-19 and 90/90-19 tires. Light Bee S is 50.4V with 17-inch tires. Only use a part when the Fits list explicitly includes Light Bee S.
Which shared Sur-Ron parts fit Light Bee S?
