About the Stem Hardware

Warp9's standard stem lock (S-NFSTEERLOCK-2) replaces a walking star-nut setup with a threaded rod that runs the full length of the steering tube and compresses the lower triple clamp toward the upper clamp to keep headset bearings loaded. This variant is the no-fender-mount kit for forks that already have a fender solution. The kit includes four black steerer height spacers: 20 mm, 15 mm, 5 mm, and 3 mm. Tools called out by the maker are a 3/8 drive for the bottom nut and Torx for the top bolt. Verified fitment: Light Bee X and Light Bee S. Storm Bee / GT are unverified catalog rows. Ultra Bee and Hyper Bee are Does not fit.

Install notes

Support the bike and relieve stem pressure. Install the threaded rod through the steerer per Warp9's sequence, choose spacer stack from the 20/15/5/3 mm set so clamp stack height is correct, then tighten the bottom nut with a 3/8 drive and the top bolt with the specified Torx bit. Check that the headset turns smoothly without play. Recheck after the first ride. This kit assumes your fork already has a fender mount solution — it is not the fender-mount stem lock variant.
