About the Brake Rotor / Disc

Warp9 floating rear rotor T-SR220-B2.3-OEM is a two-piece 220×2.3 mm stainless ring with aluminum center for OEM Talaria hubs. On MX4/XXX bikes that already run factory 220 mm rears, Warp9 states no caliper bracket is required. On MX3, the matching Warp9 listing requires a Sur-Ron/Talaria 220 mm caliper adapter spacer kit. Verified: Sting R MX4, MX4 Expert, xXx, and Sting MX3 (with adapter). Unverified despite the SKU name: Komodo, Dragon, and MX5 Pro — maker pages list MX3/MX4/XXX only.

Install notes

Remove the rear wheel and the stock rotor bolts. Clean the hub face, mount the floating rotor in the correct rotation direction, and torque OEM-pattern bolts evenly. For MX3, install the 220 mm caliper adapter spacer kit so pad alignment matches the larger disc before you ride. MX4/XXX factory 220 mm setups typically need no bracket per Warp9. Spin the wheel and check pad clearance. Re-bed pads after a rotor change.

FAQ

Does the Komodo/Dragon name mean it fits Komodo?

Not as verified. The catalog id includes those names, but Warp9's maker pages list MX3, MX4, and XXX. Komodo, Dragon, and MX5 Pro are marked unverified on this PDP.

Do I need an adapter on Sting R MX4?

Warp9's MX4/XXX floating rear 220 mm page says no caliper bracket is required when the bike already has factory 220 mm. MX3 is the platform that needs the 220 mm adapter spacer kit.
