Chain
428 pitch non-sealed chain. OEM specification chain for Electric Motion Epure Race/Sport (DID 428 NZ Gold, 128 links, 11T front / 57T rear OEM). Talaria MX5 Pro uses 428 pitch — different from MX3/MX4 which use 420. Talaria Dragon and Komodo compatibility with 428 is probable (same platform tier as MX5 Pro) but requires Rawrr Mantis confirmed 428 pitch. Replace chain and sprockets as a matched set.
$126.85
$102.52–$122.05 (varies by link count and color). Low stock — 2/21 variants in stock as of 2026-06-02 (Gold/136L only).

Chain
Premium upgrade over the 428 NZ. X-ring seals reduce friction and extend chain life compared to non-sealed. DID describes this as their most popular on- and off-road chain. Chain Life Index 2,700 (vs. non-ring chains around 400-600). Compatible with the same 428-pitch models as the 428 NZ - select this for riders who want longer service intervals. Talaria Dragon and Komodo require fitment verification before ordering.
$204.80
DID 428VX X-Ring chain 120L Gold in stock, ships within 24 hours at $154.48. Spec calls for multiple length options; 120L fits Sur-Ron Ultra Bee and Talaria Dragon/Komodo/Rawrr Mantis with appropriate setup. 130L currently out of stock at same retailer. Gold finish only.
