About the Chain Tensioner

The chain tensioner block kit keeps the Soleil01's chain aligned and at the right tension. Tuttio says it helps prevent the chain from slipping. Replace the blocks when they are cracked, worn, or no longer hold the axle square, since a misaligned wheel wears the chain and sprockets quickly. Check the marks on each side to keep the wheel straight.

Install notes

Adjust both sides evenly so the rear wheel stays straight, then set chain slack and tighten the axle nut. Check slack again once the chain has bedded in.
