About the Chain Guard
A chain protector for the Soleil01, in a harder or a softer version. Our catalog notes that the harder one lasts longer but is slightly louder, and the softer one is quieter but wears faster. Pick the trade-off that suits your riding, and replace it before the chain cuts through to the frame. A worn protector lets the chain slap the frame, which is noisy and damages the paint.

Install notes
Fit the protector in place of the worn one with the original screws, and check the chain runs over it without binding.
