The Ventus is a Chinese electric dirt bike with two distinct variants: the V1 and the V1+. These are not minor trim differences — the two models use different brake fluids, different drive systems, and different suspension components. Ordering the wrong part is easy, so confirming your model before ordering is essential.

Do not mix brake fluids. If your bike uses mineral oil (V1) and you add DOT4, you will destroy the seals. If you are unsure which model you have, check the Ventus serial number or the brake reservoir cap.

2. Drive System

Chain (Both Models)

The Ventus uses a 14T front / 52T rear sprocket ratio — a relatively tall gearing setup compared to many e-motos. Check chain tension every 8–10 hours and replace chain and sprockets together when worn.

Carbon Belt (V1+ Only)

The V1+ runs both a chain and a carbon belt — a dual-drive configuration. The belt handles secondary reduction, similar to the setup on the 79Bike Falcon GT. Carbon belts last longer than chains in clean conditions but are sensitive to lateral loads and contamination. Keep the belt guard in place and inspect for cracks or fraying regularly.

3. Suspension (V1+)

The RFloXa Hawk31 Pro is an inverted fork — a step up from conventional forks in terms of stiffness and feel. Service fork seals when you notice oil weeping ($36.99 for the seal kit). The RAB50RC rear shock is adjustable for preload and rebound — it is rebuildable by a suspension shop if needed.
